The new original Movistar Plus+ series, ‘Apagón’ finishes after five months shooting in ten locations in Spain, such as Madrid, Toledo, Segovia, Guadalajara and Ciudad Real.

The best creative talent is taking charge of the five 50 minutes episodes interconnected with each other, in a fiction that addresses how a solar storm hits the Earth causing a global blackout.

In this new reality, they develop five stories of characters who struggle to adapt to a world without electricity, telecommunications or means of transport, in which they must deal with their most basic needs, instincts and fears.

‘Apagón’, the original Movistar Plus+ series produced by Buendía Estudios, will be released on September 29th, 2022.

These are the titles of the five episodes directed and written by leading figures of the Spanish audio-visual:
