The complete second season of ‘La Unidad’ will be released next Friday March 18th exclusively in Movistar Plus+.

‘La Unidad’ is a fast-paced thriller that, in its second season, will keep the ambitious production level of the first. It will go a step beyond in the story of these anonymous heroes who form a team of the National Police specialized in the fight against jihadist terrorism. And now, the target of the terrorists will be la Unidad itself and its members.

Like the first season, this second one is created by  Dani de la Torre (‘La sombra de la ley’, ‘El desconocido’), who also directs the series, and by Alberto Marini (‘Apagón’, an original Movistar Plus+ series, ‘Tu hijo’, ‘El desconocido’), who lead a team of screenwriters formed by Amèlia Mora, Alfred Pérez-Farga and Roger Danès.

Starring female characters in a position of responsibility and leadership. La Unidad is still led by inspector Carla Torres, played by Natalie Poza, and Marian Álvarez as agent Miriam. Michel Noher is Marcos, Carla’s ex-partner, father of her daughter and chief of La Unidad; Luis Zahera is Sergio, the chief of operations. The Spanish actress of Persian origin Fariba Sheikhan is agent Najwa; Raúl Fernández de Pablo is Roberto and Carlos Blanco is Ramón. The series also features the special collaboration of Fele Martínez as Sanabria.

All of them, as members of la Unidad, will pay a very high price when they become a direct target of the terrorists. Lúa, the daughter of the couple formed by Carla and Marcos, played by young actress Alba Bersabé, will be one of the main characters of this second season.

Together with Frances Orella and Pepo Oliva, in this new season Fran CantosAroa Rodríguez and Juan Carlos Villanueva will join the cast, along with an important cast of international actors from more than six different nationalities, standing out Moussa Echarif, Amina Leony, Mekki Kadiri, Bouzan Hadawi, Kaabil Sekali, Farah Hammed, Amín Hamada, Inti El Meskine, Hamid Krim, Mourad Ouani, Mekki Kadiri, Omar Bentaleb and Said El Mouden.

The members of La Unidad will face an unequalled situation when an operation turns them into the objective of the terrorists, at the same time they try to find out if there is a spy in the team leaded by Carla.
