Synopsis
Galicia, 1900. Two baby girls, Clara and Catalina, are born at the Espíritu Santo estate. The first is the daughter of Renata, one of the estate’s maids, while the second is the daughter of the Valdés family, Don Gustavo and Doña Inés.
An unexpected act of revenge will shake the lives of the two girls and everyone around them, forcing Doña Inés to survive heartbreak and the pain of abandonment. She will also have to face fierce power struggles to ensure that her true daughter becomes the heir to an empire, in a time when women were not allowed to take control of their own lives.
