The new version of 'Poquita fe', acclaimed by critics and audiences in Spain, will premiere on the German platform Joyn and will be directed by the Spanish director Iván Sáinz-Pardo.
‘Poquita fe’, the series produced by Buendía Estudios created by Pepón Montero and Juan Maidagán, will have a version for Germany produced by SKP Entertainment GmbH, which will premiere on Joyn, the streaming service of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE.
‘Poquita fe’ has been a critical and audience success on Movistar Plus+ with its short 15-minute episodes, unique narrative, and sense of humor. The adaptation promises to maintain the essence of the original series. The German production is already underway with an extraordinary cast and will be one of Joyn’s major premieres in December 2024.
Sebastian Bezzel and Johanna C. Gehlen are the protagonists of the adaptation, alongside an outstanding cast and crew. They have been filming the German version of ‘Poquita fe’ in Berlin since mid-June. The series is directed by the Spanish director Iván Sáinz-Pardo, with Stefan Stuckmann serving as showrunner.

‘Poquita fe’, produced by Buendía Estudios, premiered on Movistar Plus+ in July 2023 and a second season has been confirmed. The series created by Juan Maidagán and Pepón Montero, starring a cast led by Raúl Cimas and Esperanza Pedreño, received excellent reviews and was a public success. ‘Poquita fe’ has garnered several awards, including the Ondas Award for Best Comedy Series, the Feroz Award for Best Comedy, the ALMA Writers Guild Award for Best Comedy Series Script, the Seriemanía (Cinemanía) Awards for Best Comedy Series and a Special Award for Raúl Cimas and Esperanza Pedreño, and the Rose d’Or Latino for Best Short or Multiplatform Series, among others.
