‘La Unidad Kabul’, the original series Movistar Plus+ created by Dani de la Torre and Alberto Marini, has finished its filming, which has taken place over 10 weeks in more than 30 locations in Madrid and Almería and has culminated in a phase in Pakistan.

The new season of the successful fiction has counted on new with a production deployment to match this ambitious series, with a shooting crew made up of 300 artists and technicians. Around 130 actors and extras have participated in the filming. The spectacular action scenes have included 40 stuntmen, including 28 riders.

Nathalie Poza, Marian Álvarez, Michel Noher and Fariba Sheikan lead the cast which includes the new additions of Mehdi Regragui, Shabnam Rahimi and Reyhane Noori, among others.

Dani de la Torre has referred to the filming of this new season: “This third season has been much more demanding than the previous ones, both for the crew and for the actors. ‘La Unidad Kabul’ is an original Movistar Plus+ produced by Buendía Estudios which will debut on the platform in the spring of 2023.

Synopsis

In a new mission, several agents of La Unidad are in Afghanistan a few days before Kabul is taken by the Taliban and Spain begins the evacuation of civilians and collaborators. Their objective is to meet with an infiltrator who has information about a possible attack in Europe, but they find themselves surprised by clashes between mujahideen, Taliban and ISIS K forces and end up involved in a dangerous situation.
