‘Déjate ver’ (before known as ‘Ana &’), the new original series written and directed by Álvaro Carmona, has just started its shooting which will be held during the next months. ATRESplayer PREMIUM bets again on Álvaro Carmona’s talent, he was also the creator of the praised fiction ‘Gente Hablando’ (Flooxer), nominated to an International Emmy as Best Short Series.

The shooting of the eight episodes that form this fiction will take place in different locations of the Community of Madrid. Throughout its instalments, ‘Déjate ver’ will tell a story that deals with the quest of one’s self and the necessity of going beyond in a world more and more absurd.

Macarena Sanz is the protagonist of ‘Déjate ver’. She will play Ana, the assistant of a well-known artist who is starting to disappear.  If she doesn’t want to end up becoming totally invisible, she must come back home to catch up with the life she abandoned, with herself and, above all, to confront face to face with a world with which she just doesn’t connect.

‘Déjate ver’  is a dramedy with an author’s hallmark and a distinct personality that revolves around the search for oneself and the need to transcend in today’s world. With this idea as a starting point, the series addresses topics such as concept and identity, personal fulfilment, the world of art and entertainment, loneliness, the idea of family or the current relationship with technology, offering a fresh, innovative and full of ingenuity point of view.

Ana has lived in a bubble for the last years while working as the assistant of Bassil, one of the most famous artists of the planet and whose identity is a mystery to the general public, but now that she has begun to disappear, she will have to confront face to face with a world with which she feels she doesn’t connect.
