‘Déjate ver’, the new series by Álvaro Carmona, is a dramedy with author’s hallmark that faces issues such as the identity concept or the relationship with our environment and technology from an original and witty point of view.
‘Déjate ver’ (before known as ‘Ana &’), the new original series written and directed by Álvaro Carmona, has just started its shooting which will be held during the next months. ATRESplayer PREMIUM bets again on Álvaro Carmona’s talent, he was also the creator of the praised fiction ‘Gente Hablando’ (Flooxer), nominated to an International Emmy as Best Short Series.
The shooting of the eight episodes that form this fiction will take place in different locations of the Community of Madrid. Throughout its instalments, ‘Déjate ver’ will tell a story that deals with the quest of one’s self and the necessity of going beyond in a world more and more absurd.
Macarena Sanz is the protagonist of ‘Déjate ver’. She will play Ana, the assistant of a well-known artist who is starting to disappear. If she doesn’t want to end up becoming totally invisible, she must come back home to catch up with the life she abandoned, with herself and, above all, to confront face to face with a world with which she just doesn’t connect.
The rest of the cast includes Irene Minovas, Joan Amargós, Ramón Barea, Óscar Ladoire, Miki Esparbé, Iván Massagué, César Tormo, Carlos Librado “Nene” or Alba Ribas, among others.
