Always answering somebody’s call for help, the queens have travelled all around Spain to show LGTBIQ+ realities outside of the big cities.
‘Reinas al Rescate’ is the new format in ATRESplayer PREMIUM, produced by Buendía Estudios, in which Pupi Poisson, Sharonne and Estrella Xtravaganza, guided by Supremme de Luxe, will visit several towns of Spain to bring visibility to LGTBIQ+ stories and show the reality of the collective outside the big cities.
In this road trip, the queens come to the call of several people who have asked for help: people related to the LGTBIQ + collective who need their support to convey a message of diversity to their environment: small towns in Spain. A poignant format with an important and revolutionary message behind each story.
Chapter 1: Hugo, in Roda de Bera (Tarragona)
Hugo has always felt like a boy since he can remember and, although as a child his family let him express himself freely, when he became a teenager they tried to feminize his image. Confessing to his parents that he was a trans boy was a nightmare of years that led his father to stop talking to him. Moreover, in his village they still make fun of him.
He would like the queens to help him close the open wound with his father and regain self-confidence. He will be accompanied on stage by his father Germán and his trans friend Lucía, who has also suffered aggressions and who finds a model in Hugo.
