‘Apagón’, the long-awaited series produced by Buendía Estudios for Movistar Plus+, will be released on September 29th.
4 July, 2022'Apagón', the next original series by Movistar Plus+ produced by Buendía Estudios, will consist in five episodes, in which the connection point is a solar storm that causes a total blackout in the planet.
The new original Movistar Plus+ series, ‘Apagón’ finishes after five months shooting in ten locations in Spain, such as Madrid, Toledo, Segovia, Guadalajara and Ciudad Real.
The best creative talent is taking charge of the five 50 minutes episodes interconnected with each other, in a fiction that addresses how a solar storm hits the Earth causing a global blackout.
In this new reality, they develop five stories of characters who struggle to adapt to a world without electricity, telecommunications or means of transport, in which they must deal with their most basic needs, instincts and fears.
