First images of ‘Sin Cobertura’, the new family adventure by Mar Olid that has just completed its filming

The filming of this family adventure, which will take us through a time leap to show what life was like before the arrival of new technologies, has concluded in the Basque Country. Screenwriter Olatz Arroyo transports us with this story to the Middle Ages to understand the impact new technologies have had on the way 21st-century families interact.

Starring Alexandra Jiménez and Ernesto Sevilla, who play the parents of this family, completed by the children Luna Fulgencio and siblings Amaia and Aimar Miranda.

A group of renowned actors, including Luis Callejo, Pepe Viyuela, Salva Reina, Carmen Ruiz, Joaquín Reyes, Candela Camacho, Carlos Serrano, Germán Alcarazu, and with a special appearance by Petra Martínez, complete the cast of this medieval fantasy.

In the words of its director, Mar Olid: “Since I first read ‘Sin Cobertura,’ I was captivated by all the ingredients it has: comedy, adventure, family, love, friendship, tenderness, honor, betrayal, survival, conflicts, danger, learning, history, magic… it’s a family adventure film with a lot of humor.

It’s a movie of our time, and it humorously addresses the greatest social issue of our times: living more of a virtual life than a real one.”

‘Sin Cobertura’ is a production by Buendía Estudios Bizkaia, LAZONA Zinema, Atresmedia Cine, and LAZONA Producciones, with the participation of Atresmedia and Netflix, and funding from the Ministry of Culture – ICAA. Sony Pictures Entertainment Iberia will be responsible for the film’s distribution in theaters next summer.
