‘Ángela’ is the adaptation of the successful British drama ‘Angela Black’, a dramatic thriller about a woman who tries to unmask the true face of an abusive and psychopathic husband.

Verónica Sánchez, Daniel Grao, Jaime Zatarain, and Lucía Jiménez lead the cast of the series, which also includes Iván Marcos, Ane Gabarain, María Isabel Díaz Lago, and young actresses Maia Zaitegui and Sua Díez, among others.

‘Ángela’ consists of six 50-minute episodes and is a production of Buendía Estudios Bizkaia, with the participation of Atresmedia TV.

Sonia Martínez and Borja Echeverría are the executive producers of the series, with Montse García serving as Head of Fiction at Atresmedia. The series is directed by Tito López-Amado.

Lucía Alonso-Allende is the co-executive producer of ‘Ángela’, with a writing team composed of Sara Cano and Paula Fabra, and Jorge Blas as the script analyst. Emilio Giménez is the production manager. The art direction is led by Koldo Jones. Teo Delgado is responsible for cinematography, and Luis Sánchez for sound. Fernando Guariniello is the editor. Mariló Serrano, Fermín Galán, and Saioa Lara head the departments of makeup, hair, and wardrobe, respectively, while Cristina Perales is the casting director. Pablo Cervantes is the composer of the series’ original music.

About ‘Ángela’

Ángela appears to lead an idyllic life: she has two wonderful daughters, a charming husband, and a spectacular home. However, this facade is a lie and it is becoming increasingly difficult for her to maintain.

In reality, Ángela is a woman abused by an obsessive husband who has convinced her that without him, she would be nothing. Until one day, Edu, a handsome young man, reveals surprising secrets to her and is willing to help her eliminate him from her life.
