‘Marbella’, complete series available on Movistar Plus+

‘Marbella’, the new series from the creators of ‘La Unidad’ and ‘La Unidad Kabul’, produced by Buendía Estudios Canarias, is now fully available on Movistar Plus+.

‘Marbella’ is a six-episode thriller featuring a gripping plot that combines fiction and journalistic investigation. The series delves into an intricate network of criminal gangs operating on the Costa del Sol, a complex web that includes various nationalities, a range of crimes, old-school kingpins, and young newcomers imposing new rules on the business.

The series is inspired by the 2021 El País report titled ‘Marbella, Global Headquarters of Organized Crime‘, which provided an in-depth analysis of the gangs operating on the Marbella coast.

Hugo Silva leads the cast, playing César, an ambitious and seductive lawyer who knows how to bend the law to achieve his goals. The main cast also includes Ana Isabelle, Khalid El Paisano, Aurora Moroni, Elvira Mínguez, Manuela Calle, Mohamed Said, Daniele Fileti, and Fernando Cayo.
