Antena 3 premieres ‘La Pasión Turca’ next Thursday, May 9, in prime time

‘La Pasión Turca,’ an original series by Atresmedia TV in collaboration with Buendía Estudios, will premiere next Thursday, May 9, in Antena 3’s prime time. The production, which will be aired weekly, consists of six episodes, each lasting 50 minutes, and is already available in its entirety for premium users of Atresplayer, Atresmedia’s platform.

‘La Pasión Turca’ tells a love story taken to the extreme in two timelines. Olivia is an independent and strong woman who embarks on a frenetic relationship that leads her to obsession and to abandon her old life, sacrificing her freedom, all for Yamán, a man she no longer knows if she truly understands. Passion and desire lead the protagonist to places she had never imagined, dominating and directing her life.

Maggie Civantos and Turkish actor Ilker Kaleli portray the lead couple in ‘La Pasión Turca,’ joined by Spanish and Turkish names including Ainhoa Santamaría, Yasemin Sannino, Fernando Andina, Laura Pamplona, Arlette Torres, Burak Hakki, and Mariona Terés.

‘La Pasión Turca’ is an adaptation of the popular homonymous novel written in 1993 by the renowned author Antonio Gala. The novel is published by Editorial Planeta, and the audiovisual rights have been managed by the Book & Film Rights department of the Editorial Division.

The script of ‘La Pasión Turca’ is written by Irene Rodríguez and Esther Morales. Montse García, Sonia Martínez, and Amparo Miralles are the executive producers of this fiction from the Series Atresmedia label, directed by Iñaki Peñafiel.
