‘La Unidad’, produced by Buendía Estudios, winner in the categories of Best Direction and Best Fiction at the 2022 Iris Awards

The 13th edition of the Iris Awards was held on International Television Day. In Kinépolis, Madrid, the awards granted by the Television Academy were delivered. Some well-attended awards that brought together more than 800 professionals from the small screen and which featured Luis Larrodera as presenter.

Among the winners is the Buendía Estudios production, the second season of ‘La Unidad’, which won the Iris Awards for Best Director, for Dani de la Torre, and Best Fiction.

‘La Unidad‘ is a fast-paced thriller that, in its second season, maintains the ambitious production level of the first and goes a step further in the story of these anonymous heroes who make up a National Police team specialized in the fight against jihadist terrorism.
