The filming of ‘Los Protegidos: El regreso’ starts

Among the productions of Buendía Estudios that have started filming this April is ‘Los Protegidos: El regreso‘. The successful series that aired on Antena 3 between 2010 and 2012, with a total of 3 seasons, and which brought together more than 3 million viewers who closely followed the story of the Castillo Rey family.

10 years later, we can see how the passage of time and destiny, in addition to an unknown event that we will discover during this new stage, has separated this family, although a serious threat will make them face a new mission all together.

‘Los Progegidos: El regreso’ will feature the actors who gave life to the iconic characters with their strange supernatural powers in the original series with whom the audience fell in love. Antonio Garrido (Mario), Ana Fernández (Sandra), Luis Fernández (Culebra), Daniel Avilés (Carlitos) and Mario Marzo (Lucas) will join forces again. The family is completed with Maggie Garcia in the role of Lucia. In addition, Gracia Olayo and Oscar Ladoire will again play the roles of Rosa and Antonio. The cast is completed with the new additions of Maripaz Sagayo, Carlotta Cosials, Eduardo Lloveras, Francisco J. Mendo and Cosette Silguero.

The filming of the four episodes will run over the next few months in different locations in Madrid and will premiere on the payment platform of ATRESplayer PREMIUM.
