‘The Cook of Castamar’ successfully arrives at Antena 3 with the premiere of its first chapter

‘The Cook of Castamar’ debuted yesterday with great success on Antena 3 by conquering more than 2.4 million viewers and a 17.2% share, the best premiere of a TV series in 2021. The network’s newThursday’s night bet registers nearly 4.8 million contacts and also becomes the best national fiction broadcast of the year and therefore also the most-viewed series of the day.

The series, starring Michelle Jenner, Roberto Enríquez and Hugo Silva, is also available on ATRESplayer PREMIUM. Fiction is an adaptation of Fernando J. Múñez’s novel of the same name (ed. Planeta), set in 18th-century Madrid.
