The fourth edition of ‘Drag Race Espa\u00f1a’<\/strong> kicked off this Sunday with the premiere of the ‘Meet The Queens’<\/strong> special on atresplayer. The new season of the talent show<\/strong> is set to premiere on September 22<\/strong>, and the identities of the 12 queens competing in this edition have already been revealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supremme de Luxe<\/strong> returns to host the show once again. Joining her on the judging panel are Javier Calvo, Javier Ambrossi, and Ana Locking<\/strong>, who also return from the third season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new queens of ‘Drag Race Espa\u00f1a’ <\/strong>are Angelita la Perversa, Chloe Vittu, Dita Dubois, Kelly Passa!?, La Ni\u00f1a Delantro, Le Coc\u00f3, Mariana Stars, Megui Yeillow, Miss Khristo, Porca Theclubkid, Shani Lasanta, and Vampirashian<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ‘Drag Race Espa\u00f1a’<\/strong> workshop will soon reopen its doors with this new cast of queens, who are ready to showcase their talents on the runway. This new cast will take the torch from the previous two generations of queens, who are already shining on stages across Spain and the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The queens<\/strong><\/mark><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ANGELITA LA PERVERSA<\/strong>
44 years old. Madrid. Originally from Seville, she has been doing drag for 26 years, although she prefers to call herself a \u201ctravest\u00ed\u201d in Spanish rather than using the English term. She describes herself as a “classic drag,” but at the same time, modern, sexy, avant-garde, and full of dark humor that “you can’t help but laugh at.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Angelita embodies duality\u2014she can be “very good, or very bad.” She believes she should be the next Spanish drag star because “Spain’s queens need comedy,” and she’s here to bring the “democracy of laughter,” which she believes is sorely needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CHLOE VITTU<\/strong>
23 years old. Barcelona. Hailing from Moncada y Reixach (Barcelona), specifically “from the only neighborhood with security cameras,” her drag is inspired by local “chonis” (slang for tough girls) but elevated: think Miss Nina, La Zowi, or Bad Gyal. She\u2019s here to serve “great lipsyncs, scandalous looks, and boobs that will cause a sensation,” but above all, “face, face, and more face.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chloe loves interacting with the audience, making sure people have a good time, and “raving after work.” She believes she should be the next Spanish drag star because it’s time for a \u201cgood choni\u201d to win, and she wants her prize money “in cash, Bizum, or Bitcoin.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DITA DUBOIS<\/strong>
37 years old. Tenerife. Dita Dubois is a “comedy – big queen” and the first Canary Islander to compete on Drag Race Espa\u00f1a<\/em> without platforms. She sees herself as the result of mixing Carmen Farala, Samantha Ballentines, and Estrella Xtravaganza: “Beautiful but tacky.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her drag is a mix of comedy and luxury because “Canarians love to shine.” Dita\u2019s standout qualities are her body and face, which she proudly says \u201ccost a lot of money,\u201d and of course, her “cheeky tongue.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KELLY PASSA!?<\/strong>
38 years old. Madrid. Kelly is ready to bring “surrealism and punk” to Drag Race Espa\u00f1a<\/em>. Her inspirations range from Vivienne Westwood to Lina Morgan, Alaska, Almod\u00f3var, Wes Anderson, and even her mother and grandmother. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She comes from theater, the streets, performance, dreams, and fantasy, and she\u2019s here to “give it her all.” Her strengths are creativity, brainstorming, and “wild ideas.” She should be the next Spanish drag star because she’s empowered by her work on stage and believes that “drag should fill theaters.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LA NI\u00d1A DELANTRO<\/strong>
22 years old. Castell\u00f3n de la Plana. La Ni\u00f1a Delantro is “the beautiful one, the trans girl, the neighborhood princess, the lipsync assassin\u2026 the everything.” Her drag represents “the cute and pretty” side of ‘La Ni\u00f1a’ and “the party, the vibe, the concept, and the dark side” of ‘Delantro.’ <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She\u2019s on Drag Race Espa\u00f1a<\/em> to make her mom proud, but also to fight for “trans justice,” claiming, “It\u2019s time for a trans woman to take the crown.” She also says she\u2019s here “to have a f***ing great time.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LE COC\u00d3<\/strong>
28 years old. Madrid. Le Coc\u00f3 describes herself as “the lip of Madrid nightlife” and “the villain of the season.” She\u2019s from the capital, coming from podiums, full striptease, and “the streets” because for her, “Madrid is the street, and Le Coc\u00f3 is very Madrid.” Her influences are ’90s supermodels, Madonna, and Almod\u00f3var films. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She finds it hilarious when her grandmother tells her, “Stop being such a slut on stage and go on Pasapalabra<\/em>.” She can\u2019t go anywhere without a big wig because her wigs are her defining feature. She\u2019s here to win because it\u2019s time for “a redhead from Madrid” to take the crown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MARIANA STARS<\/strong>
28 years old. Venezuela. Mariana Stars proudly carries her Venezuelan heritage, hailing from “a country known for its beauty, flavor, and sugar!” She describes her drag as a “Venezuelan arepa” full of glitter, fabulosity, and a crispy layer of spectacularity. Her wardrobe is “a mosaic of colors and opulence not everyone can afford.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her influences are Carolina Herrera, Alicia Machado, Coco Chanel, and all the divine women who came “to impose their glamour.” She\u2019s here to be the first Latina to win Drag Race Espa\u00f1a<\/em> and bring “flavor, personality, and beauty.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MEGUI YEILLOW<\/strong>
31 years old. \u00c9cija. Despite being from Andalusia, she now happily lives in Valencia. She\u2019s the “muscular queen” of the season and describes herself as “vigorexic lost”: a lover of protein, carbs, potassium, and “eggs.” Her strengths are “bench pressing, squats, and abs, but also dancing.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Megui defines herself as a “Bacatriz” (dancer, singer, and actress), aiming to be the lipsync and dance floor queen. “When the music starts, everyone trembles.” She wants to be the next Spanish drag star because she\u2019s a “complete artist: from head to tits.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MISS KHRISTO<\/strong>
31 years old. Madrid. Miss Khristo presents herself as the fashion queen of the season, defining herself as an underground diva. Her name is rooted in religion, iconography, the Virgin Marys, and Christs. “There\u2019s nothing more drag than gold, luxury, excess, and passion.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her drag draws from fashion editorials, underground culture, fashion, clubs, darkness, and sex. Dancing and fashion mean everything to her, and all her outfits are made from impossible materials: latex, leather, plastic, PVC… She believes she should be the next Spanish drag star because “there\u2019s no concept more advanced in drag than hers.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PORCA THECLUBKID<\/strong>
39 years old. Madrid. Porca hails from Madrid, ready to bring “Club Kid drag” and a “fantasy of color” to the Drag Race Espa\u00f1a<\/em> runway. Her strength lies in creating “crazy characters,” and she champions comedy, calling her drag “body art with a hint of clown.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She masters comedy, acting, and creating amazing outfits with recycled materials: “high fashion made from trash.” Her references are Divine, John Waters, the circus, Spanish folklore, and “the housewives from Edward Scissorhands<\/em>.” She believes it’s her turn to be the next Spanish drag star because “it\u2019s time for the weirdos: everyone needs to see what we’re worth.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SHANI LASANTA<\/strong>
25 years old. Jerez de la Frontera. Shani Lasanta defines her drag as “flamenco slut”: a fusion of styles that blends her Romani roots with sex appeal and mystery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She says her main talent is singing: “I can sing anything, flamenco, soul, or rap.” She considers herself the queen of acting, capable of both comedy and drama. She\u2019s here on Drag Race Espa\u00f1a<\/em> to “leave a legacy.” “I want everyone to remember me.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VAMPIRASHIAN<\/strong>
30 years old. Valencia. Vampirashian is “the first cupletista” on Drag Race Espa\u00f1a<\/em>, coming from “the land of flowers, light, and love: Valencia.” She claims to be “689 years old” and describes herself as “a charming and very elegant lady,” but with enough cheek to point out that she\u2019s not like others who “only flash their privates.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her strengths lie in singing and dancing “with flair,” and she asserts that she can achieve anything because “I have more guts than spine and scandalous boobs.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Drag Race Espa\u00f1a’ <\/strong>will once again seek out Spain’s best drag superstar through a series of challenges. Each week, the queens will compete in various tasks to avoid elimination and claim the crown. They will face photo shoots, dance routines, artistic challenges, and musical performances to prove they are the best in their field. Every episode will include mini-challenges and maxi-challenges that test all their skills. Each show will culminate in a grand runway where the contestants will showcase their best looks based on the weekly category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As with the entire ‘Drag Race Espa\u00f1a’ <\/strong>franchise, this fourth edition is produced by World of Wonder <\/strong>and Atresmedia <\/strong>in collaboration with Buend\u00eda Estudios<\/strong> following an agreement with Passion Distribution<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
